The pictures below are from a church with termite damage. The pulpit and canopy are historical pieces within this church and they have asked us to refurbish the piece. This piece as you can see was a bit troublesome to get down, however, it was possible and we were able to safely remove the piece from the church. The top of the canopy reaches about 25 feet off of the ground before being removed from the church. We first took down the piece and then brought it back to our shop. We then send it off to be stripped. As soon as the piece is stripped the repairs begin. After all the repairs are made we stain the piece. Once the stain sits and dries we will begin applying the gold leaf. As soon as the gold leaf was applied we were able to start with the reinstallation of the pulpit and now have finished pictures.
